Sticking To Your Goals

This year 2018 I wanted to do something different I wanted to focus on me. I wanted to better myself three different ways (Mind, Body and Spiritually). I wanted the year 2018 to be the best year knowing that I’m doing everything I can to make it happen. Changing your lifestyle doesn’t happen over night It’s a process that you have to stick with to create a habit that becomes natural to yourself.

Early January, I started to focus on bettering myself (Mind, Body and Spiritually) knowing that I would be taking my health and fitness to the next level. I’ve never felt so good in my skin as I do today because of a workout program that I was able to do at home on my laptop that has totally change the way I feel about the way I look in my skin! I now look in the mirror and see a bright strong confident women working towards real personal goals that will succeed. I have lost 12 lbs and  5in so far and the best part is I’m not even done with the program I feel amazing!!!! I would have never posted a picture like this before but I know this needs to be share!

or a trip out-of-town for the weekend?

No matter how the day is spent its special because it was the day I was brought into the world and not only do I rejoice for that but, my love ones around me do the same.

It’s interesting to think that one person can impact several lives through little acts of kindness. Such as saying hello, opening the door and paying it forward. We take for granted how much we all have an impact on the lives of people around us. I’ve learned a lot for only being twenty-two, If there is one thing I can apply to everyday life its the little acts of kindness. I constantly give a simple smile because smiling at a stranger can enlighten their mood or a tinny conversation can change a persons day around.

So ladies and gentlemen when that special day comes around you rock it with a fierce look and keep moving forward because it’s just another number.

 

The Best Day Of My Life, May 27th

Who knew that I would be getting engaged just shy of a month before my 22nd birthday

It wasn’t like any other day, the morning started with running errands while the bright sun gazed down on our backs. It just so happen that family had been in town and there’s nothing better than seeing family after a while of being apart.

As the day went on I felt drained from the heat and all I wanted to do was sleep. My boyfriend then was out and about with one of his older brothers I figured it had something to deal with cars. Although we was out picking up the custom ring that he had bought to pop that big question.

I was woken up to everyone telling me we need to get ready to leave to go to saddle rock brewery. I was confused because I thought it was a lazy day because the heat kept on rising. I had no desire to get dress or go there but his sister mentioned that I talked about wanting to go a couple of weeks ago for there pizza. I didn’t know something was up even when his sister and sister in law were dressing me up and making sure I looks absolutely beautiful. The only thing that threw me off was the secret talks in the room I thought it was weird. While I was sitting there finishing up my looked I had a feeling that I might be getting engaged.

Once the five of us piled into the car all I could Think of was I’m about to get engaged and spend forever with this man beside me. I was secretly glancing at his pockets wondering is there a ring box hiding there? I didn’t see anything there so I thought I had been over thinking everyone’s actions

We all walked on the bridge that crossed over the train tracks to take a picture and I turn around to see his sister on one knee asking me to be her bridesmaids with a ring pop. I said yes while running into her arms laughing.

Daniel walks over to congratulate me and wraps his arms around me tight

telling me all the reasons why he loves me

Then the next thing I notice was him pushing me back to get down on one knee. I’ve never gasp so loud as he opened the box, while saying Morgan will you marry me!

Without skipping a heart beat I said yes, kissing and hugging him so tightly. The tears poured out as I said I love you I love you so much.

That is how my life changed with just one question

No Winter Can Last Forever

I’ve never had to go far to find snow up in the mountains in Washington. The higher the elevation the deep the snow becomes, growing from my feet to my knee’s.

The climb is the most challenging part but, once I hit the top It was the view that took my every breath away. Mother Nature never fails to surprise me with her endless beauty during each season .

What Is It about a large wall of snow that makes us so curious? Is It because we can’t see whats over the other side or Is It the thrill of the journey of figuring out for ourselves?

No matter how far I fall It’s important to remember to get up and keep climbing even If I fall hard laughing on my butt.

My favorite part about being In the snow Is attempting to win a snowball fight I won’t let my enemy win no matter how many times I fall, slip or miss the target. I’m a snow bunny   trying to make the most out of winter even though No winter last forever.

It’s A Flower Thing

Flower’s are the perfect plant that will put a smile on every girls face.

When I first glanced at the field I was blown away by how many tulips there were. Never in a million years did I think I would be walking through fields of tulips. Their natural beauty blew me away. I’ve always heard about the Tulip Festival in Skagit valley, Washington, but I had never been. This is a sight you’ll want to see for yourself.

 Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!

There are unique meanings behind each flower out there like a horoscope. I like to think that a flower such as a tulip represents beauty, kind love, and friendship. The trip out here to the fields of beautiful tulips opens up my eyes to the natural beauty I’m surrounded by in each and every day.

Doughnuts The Perfect Treat!

When in doubt doughnut out!

Whats not to love about a fresh hot Krispy Kreme doughnut straight out of the oven? That first bite has me feeling like I’m floating on cloud 9. The warm taste really does sweep you from reality.

There are sweet little moments in life when you need to bite out of reality! For me on this groggy rainy day it was Krispy Kream doughnuts! The real treat is finally sinking my teeth into that warm soft sugar coated angel of a food and feeling nothing but pure euphoria. As I chew and enjoy this absolute masterpiece of a food I cannot but help to drown myself in some ice cold milk to help squeeze in every little bite.  A lot of people prefer coffee but for me milk hits the spot.

 It is nothing but a treat as I try to stop eating these heavenly halos sent from God himself, but I find myself reaching for another time after time. I rarely get to enjoy doughnuts so when i do i splurge and eat to many, but they must be glazed with no other toppings otherwise I am not interested! They turned my groggy, sad, rainy day into a day I will envy until next time. 🙂
